About the Facility

NYU Langone Hospital-Suffolk, formerly Long Island Community Hospital, joined the NYU Langone Health system and serves as the region’s primary full-service medical center for eastern Long Island. The hospital provides comprehensive inpatient, outpatient, and emergency services to Suffolk County residents and the broader East End community.

The facility operates a Provisional Level 2 Trauma Center, a New York State-designated Primary Stroke Center with neurologists available around the clock, the Knapp Cardiac Care Center for advanced heart disease diagnosis and treatment, and a modern ambulatory surgical pavilion with specialized programs including a sleep laboratory and bariatric surgery. Inpatient psychiatric care, a hemodialysis center, and an outpatient wound care center are also on site.
